PLANT NEEDS
The optimum amount of sun or shade each plant needs to thrive: Full Sun (6+ hours), Part Sun (4-6 hours), Full Shade (up to 4 hours).
The pyramidal shape of Soft Serve Gold false cypress means it will be wider at its base and narrow at the top. Its strong silhouette means it lends a touch of formality wherever it is planted.
This soft-to-the-touch evergreen needs little maintenance. It grows well in sun or part shade (minimum of four hours of bright sun each day), but it does need well-drained soil.
This species is often known as Sawara false cypress, as it is native to the same region of Japan as the charming city of Sawara.
