Splashy green, yellow, and cream variegated leaves ensure a non-stop show, even when the plant isn't peppered with bright pink blooms. Like most spiraea, it is drought tolerant, deer resistant, and grows well in sun or part shade.

Spirea does not require regular pruning, but can be trimmed after flowering to encourage a fresh flush of colorful new growth. Though it should be watered regularly its first season, once it is established, spirea tolerates dry conditions quite well.
Like most variegated plants, occasional reversions to the original green form may occur. These should be pruned out as needed.
This plant was in our trial garden for several seasons, and everyone who saw it asked us when we were introducing it. Now, everyone can grow this splashy variegated spirea!
